Lyric:
ALL IN THE NAME (OF PROGRESS) Aug. 14/89 Karl Rigelhof

The fields sewn in my youth
Have reaped a bitter harvest
Now lie barren and unused
Dust blown/born before/along (the winds of) the/a tempest

(The) weed infested crops
Now sprawl across the land/ground/earth
Sinking their fangs into the soil
A cancer(ous growth) spreading (its tentacles) (out of hand)/(all around)/(into the dirt)

They rape the/this sacred earth/ground
To plant the demon('s) seed
(The(y)) devestat(ion) taken to its/the worst
To satisfy/satiate their lust and greed

All in the name of progress
Our/their plans and schemes are for the best
Never mind the disruption/destruction and (the) mess/distress
It (wi)ll be a big success

The hideous (heathen) idols (that) they erect
In/with blasphemy they ravage and rage
Smothering (mother) nature with/in disrespect
An earthen grave for a forgotten age
